ABC News ACT: An online article published on August 6, 2025, incorrectly stated that the High Court had upheld a finding of unfair dismissal by the Fair Work Commission relating to sacked Helensburgh Coal workers. The court had instead been asked to rule on the reach of the Fair Work Act. The story has since been updated to correctly reflect the scope of the High Court's decision that the Fair Work Commission was permitted to inquire into whether an employer could have made changes to how it uses its workforce, so as to make positions available for employees who would otherwise have been redundant.
