Looks like one of Australia’s best bands are coming back with new music this year.
The iconic Melbourne alt-rockers certainly haven't been secretive about the new record, using social media to tease fans with behind-the-scenes snaps of the writing, recording, mixing and mastering sessions.
It will be the seventh full-length album in Something For Kate catalogue, and the first new music from the band since 2012's Leave Your Soul To Science.

As far as what it's going to be called, what it will sound like and when it'll come out - we only know as much as you, all we can tell you is that we can't wait to hear it.
To get you as pumped as we are, we're taking you back to Melbourne's Northcote Social Club in 2006 for a flawless set from Something For Kate, recorded by triple j just a few months after the release of Desert Lights.
Enjoy one of the best Aussie bands of the 2000s doing what they do best.
