Key Info - Radio National's Top 100 Books

• You can Log in or sign up with your ABC account, Meta (Instagram/Facebook), Google or Apple account (we will never post to your social media without your permission).
• Remember to log out if you share your computer.  

• You can vote for a minimum of 1 book, up to a maximum of ten.
• In your shortlist, the first 10 books you selected will be ready to submit, but you can add or remove books from your selection of 10 by clicking the plus '+' or minus '-' icons beside the book.
• You cannot vote for the same book more than once.
• You can only vote once. Once you submit your votes, you can't change them, even if you've voted for fewer than 10 books.

How will voting work?

When it's time to vote, we'll get you to head to the Top 100 Books website, where you'll find a link to the voting page. There you'll find a list of hundreds of brilliant books published in the past 25 years that you can draw inspiration. Don't worry, if your favourite book isn't on the list, you'll be able to add books manually.

Will I be able to vote more than once?

You'll only get to vote once — but you will be able to choose up to 10 books that you absolutely think should make the cut. They might be books that changed you or your view of the world, that you return to every year, or just blew you away for some other reason. It's your vote, your pick.

What books will be eligible?

All books published between January 1, 2000, and August 31, 2025, will be eligible.

All genres are in the running. Whether you want to vote for your favourite novel, politics or history book, sports book or poetry collection — all books across all genres are eligible. There will also be no geographical boundaries, so no matter where in the world your favourite books were published, you can vote for them — so long as they were published in English. We're just looking for you to decide which are the very best books of the 21st Century, so far!
